This one, called, “Let Go”, is a typographical poster I was assigned to create in my typography class. The assignment was to design a typographical poster using colors and type to convey an emotion or feeling. I decided to use the colors blue in order to capture the feelings and emotions of serenity. With the type, I wanted to capture that same thing using different type faces as well as a straight forward message about letting go and trusting your process.
This one was part of another school project that I did for Graphic Design where we came up with the brand identity of a hypothetical company of our choosing. I picked my two favorite things, coffee and music, and combined them to create a coffee shop that sells records called Spinnin’ Java. I designed the logo, picked the color palette and different designs for billboards and business cards. Spinnin’ Java. Sip, Groove, Repeat.
